F101 superfine barium sulfate particles keep the crystal form of barite completely. The average particle size (D50) of the product is 1.5 μ m, and the specific surface area, surface atomic number and surface energy are large. Therefore, the optical properties, adsorption capacity, dispersibility and fluidity of F101 ultra-fine barium sulfate are greatly changed, which surpasses the original excellent characteristics of barium sulfate and becomes a physical pigment with excellent function.
F101 ultra-fine barium sulfate particles have good dispersibility and leveling property. As the carrier of pigment, it can make the pigment highly dispersed and make the coating obtain uniform color; the purer whiteness makes the color of the coating brighter and purer, and the special crystal structure and high refractive index make the color more rich and full.
F101 superfine barium sulfate has excellent chemical inertness, better compatibility, and is easy to be organically compounded with other materials to enhance the binding force; the suspension system is very stable and does not produce flocculation or precipitation. Its excellent acid resistance, high temperature resistance and other special properties greatly improve the weatherability of the coating.
The strong surface of F101 superfine barium sulfate can make the paint film and substrate more solid; the uniform ultra-fine particles can make the paint film more smooth and firm and durable. Lower oil absorption can increase the critical material volume concentration and save more resin base materials. Therefore, it is more economical and reasonable to use F101 superfine barium sulfate.
